MUSO Job Specification: Data Analyst

Location: London, Hybrid

Starting: ASAP

Hours: 37.5 per week (currently 32h per week in 4-Day Week trial)

Salary Range: Market rates (dependent on experience)

You’ll be helping media rights owners, broadcasters and VOD platforms understand global demand for film and TV titles, unearthing emerging trends and hit titles previously flying under the radar.

We have over 1000 clients globally from the music, film, TV, software and publishing industries, from international​ ​market​ ​leaders​ ​like,​ ​Sony​ ​and​ Disney​ ​to​ ​independent​ ​record​ ​labels​ ​and​ ​authors.

The company is headquartered in London, and has over 35 employees, with multiple regional sales offices around the world. MUSO established a base in central Cluj-Napoca 7 years ago and now has 15 employees based in Cluj across its Software Development, Analysis and Operational Services teams.

Desirable experience

• Experienced Data Analyst. 2+ years experience in a Data Analyst role; applications from more experienced candidates welcome - salary dependent on experience.
• Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, such as hypothesis testing or regression modelling
• Experience with programming in SQL. Python and R also desirable
• Experience with bash/shell scripting
• Good communication & attention to detail
• Experience in a small, fast-paced environment

Nice to haves

• Knowledge of machine learning
• AWS experience
• Big data
• Able to use APIs to source data
